The Triennale 'Kunstwege | Vias d'art Pontresina ', international competition for snow-ART, was held this winter in the village, which met with great approval and attention from the audience. The 5th edition had the theme "Urban Elements". From the applications from all over Europe the expert jury selected 9 teams with their projects. The aim of combining traditional sculpture with statements of modern art in order to contribute to a qualitative and innovative goal has been achieved by most teams with a high level of craftsmanship.

The quality of the work in detail and in width could be increased in 2018. The shown snowART set standards in terms of content and quality this winter. Some of the award winners showed innovative artistic approaches to conceptual design and lighting technology.
