We meet at 8:30 am at the office of the Pontresina Mountaineering School. You will be equipped under expert guidance right next door in the Go Vertical Shop Pontresina.

Afterwards we walk up through the village in a few minutes. The ideal terrain for your first ski touring experiences awaits us at the top of the village. We take our first steps on the piste, but soon leave it and continue to ascend towards Alp Languard. We go as far as we can go, the focus is on experience and training.

The training contents are: Introduction to ski touring, handling the equipment, introduction to Avalanche transceiver, ascent technique, combined with a short ascent.

The taster course ends with a downhill run including basics of skiing technique. The course ends at about 1pm.
