Sinfonia 2026 Symphony concert Pontresina

Festive sounds, crisp winter air, and magical musical moments—between Christmas and New Year’s, the Engadin once again becomes a concert hall in a class of its own. For over four decades, SINFONIA has been bringing music to life with musicians from leading European orchestras—music that touches the soul.

At the heart of the 2026 program is Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor, one of his darkest and most personal works—with Szymon Nehring, winner of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, at the piano. After intermission, Beethoven’s “Pastoral” follows, a soundscape of babbling brooks, birdsong, and serene light that finds its natural setting in the Engadin. Simon Gaudenz conducts the Engadin Symphony Orchestra.

A musical highlight to close out the year—emotional, passionate, and unforgettable.
